Welcome to the Barn

The Barn is a family business run by Jon and Antonia Chapple who moved to the area with their young son Ben in the summer of 2001.

Jon is a fully trained chef. Having trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, he worked under Henry Harris at Harvey Nichols 5th Floor restaurant in Knightsbridge.

According to one satisfied customer, “Jon’s food is better than sex”. Need we say more?

Antonia has a degree in economics and a background in administration. It is her job to ensure everything runs smoothly so that you have a hassle free holiday. She will take your bookings, organise your activities and help you get the most out of your holiday.

Ben is seven years old and likes spiderman, batman and superman. In fact, just about all the superheroes.

Louis is our latest addition, born in July 2004. He likes giggling and throwing tantrums, but finds it hard to do both at once.

We aim to make your holiday the best ever and hope you will leave not just as satisfied customers, but also as our friends.
