Since opening in 2003 The Barn Morzine has developed a well deserved reputation for consistently delicious and exciting food.

Bookings for winter 2018/19 for The Barn are on a self catered basis with catering by Jon as an option.  Please email us for pricing and information if you wish to have any catered meals during your stay.

Training

Jon is an imaginative and dedicated chef.  Formal training was done at Leith’s school of Food and Wine, and further experience was gained at the Harvey Nichol’s 5th Floor restaurant under head chef Henry Harris before working at some of London’s best catering companies.  Before we set up The Barn he worked for other ski companies in La Plagne and Morzine gathering up ideas to create the ultimate gourmet chalet holiday.

Menus

Taking his inspiration from his extensive travels (all over Europe, Asia, and North Africa), Jon has committed himself to creating a delicious and varied international menu.

The best of local produce, lots of imagination and heaps of experience all help to create an exciting and consistently satisfying gourmet chalet experience.

Wines and spirits

A selection of different wines are carefully selected to accompany and compliment each meal.  We also offer our guests both pre and after dinner drinks to be enjoyed in the warm glow of the living room fire.
