One thing our guests always remember is the amazing food. The Barn is owned by Jon, a gourmet chef who trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine before working under Henry Harris at Harvey Nichols 5th Floor restaurant in Knightsbridge. Jon sets the menus and oversees the chefs in both of our chalets.
The Barn is in a fabulous central location two minutes walk from a main ski lift. The Super Morzine telecabine gives access to the high altitude skiing of Avoriaz and the largest international ski area in the world. Morzine’s charming town centre is only a few minutes walk from our door.
The Barn is a stunning barn renovation in an unbeatable town centre location, creating two chalets under one roof. L’Ecurie (The Stables) sleeps 12–16 people in six en-suite bedrooms, and has an indoor hot tub and sauna. La Ferme (The Farmhouse) sleeps 10–15 in five en-suite bedrooms and boasts an outdoor hot tub.
Jon’s cooking was amazing and we enjoyed a varied and amazing menu, just glad we were skiing hard everyday….
